Hi my name is Mia!

I am currently an emerging designer and creative who spent my entire life on the East Coast until I decided to uproot my life and relocate to California at the beginning of 2023. While this change has been huge and scary, I am finally pursuing my passions and what makes me, well... me, and I’m excited to see where things go.

I’ve always had a knack when it came to designing things and using my creativity to express my thoughts and how I handled certain things. Aside from that, I’ve always had many hobbies and passions growing up. From playing the piano or violin to gaming, writing stories, and just always trying new things. If you asked me what my dream job was when I was younger, I’d go on about how working in the nursing field was my THING. I genuinely wanted to be able to help people in some capacity and had no real interest in anything tech. Who knew I’d stumble my way into UX Design and LOVE it?

Now that I’ve attended side webinars and powered through my master's Program with Maryland Institute College of Art, I’m ready now more than ever to continue growing as a UX Designer and showcase my progress over time.

Over the years, I’ve been grateful to experience the professional positions that I have with some wonderful companies. It helped me hone my skills and be able to experience things that helped prepare me for my career as a creative. I realize that I have to be able to understand user issues and other obstacles out in the world, to be able to create the best solutions possible.
